The ticket includes a ride on the cogwheel railway to the Jungfraujoch from/to Eigergletscher, an intermediate stop at Eismeer station, the Ice Palace and the Sphinx viewing platform.

Seat reservations can be made here at a cost of CHF 10. They are strictly non-exchangeable, non-refundable once issued.

Between May and August, seat reservations are compulsory for both routes to and from the Jungfraujoch: Grindelwald Terminal–Eigergletscher–Jungfraujoch and Kleine Scheidegg–Jungfraujoch. We recommend choosing your preferred time slot as early as possible. The earlier you book, the more likely it is that your preferred time slot will be available.

Reservations are recommended but not compulsory for the rest of the year. For further information, please contact the relevant railways directly.

This depends on where your journey starts and returns from and the means of transport you are travelling by. With the Eiger Express from Grindelwald Terminal: The journey from Grindelwald Terminal takes almost 1 hour there and 1 hour back (with a change to the cogwheel railway at Eigergletscher station). With the Wengernalp railway from Wengen: The journey from Wengen takes 1 hour 25 minutes there and 1 hour 25 minutes back, with changes at Kleine Scheidegg and Eigergletscher. Duration of stay: Due to the variety of activities, we recommend planning a stay of at least two hours on the Jungfraujoch. If you want to take a break to eat in a restaurant, plan in some extra time.
The Jungfrau railway operates all year round except from 06.05.-17.05.2024 & 21.10.-03.11.2024 (on the Kleine Scheidegg-Grindelwald route) and from 04.11.-29.11.2024 (on the Kleine Scheidegg-Wengen route). Please refer to the applicable timetable for the exact departure times.
