No discounts are available for young people.
Children aged at least 6 and under 16 pay 50% if a parent or adult purchases a full-price ticket and does not have an STS pass. If one parent holds a valid STS pass, they are entitled to a 50% discount and children go free with the Swiss Family Card. STS passes are the Swiss Travel Pass, Swiss Travel Pass Flex and the Swiss Half Fare Card.No, there is no discount for senior citizens.
When ordering, you must enter a specific date on our website on which you would like to go on the excursion. You are therefore bound by this date and cannot change it flexibly.
Tickets will only be fully refunded if you have taken out the FLEX CANCELLATION OPTION and if they are cancelled at least 1 day before travel. You can add the FLEX CANCELLATION OPTION for payment protection in the final step of the checkout process before payment.
If you have not taken out the Flex Cancellation Option, a cancellation fee of CHF 30 will be charged, and a fee of CHF 60 will apply if the cancellation is made between 1 and 3 days prior to travel. This e-ticket is already a valid ticket.
E-tickets are personal and non-transferable. They are only valid in conjunction with a valid passport or ID card. The details on the passport or ID card must match the details on the e-ticket.
You can present the e-ticket directly on your smartphone or tablet so that the QR code can be scanned by the ticket inspector. You can also save the e-ticket in the wallet on your mobile device. Alternatively, you can print out the ticket on white paper in its original size and present it for inspection.
The ticket includes a ride on the cogwheel railway from/to Montreux, the Marmot Paradise and the Rambertia alpine garden.
It is not possible to reserve seats.
The journey by cogwheel railway from Montreux to the Rochers-de-Naye summit station alone takes about 50 minutes each way.
Once there, the weather dictates whether you can take part in outdoor activities. You also have the opportunity of dining in the restaurant while enjoying the beautiful view. In all cases, we recommend planning half a day.
The cogwheel railway is open all year round except on Mondays and Tuesdays in January & February. Please consult the applicable timetable for the exact departure times.
